We are so excited that you want to volunteer with Operation Red Nose (ORN) through Abbotsford Restorative Justice and Advocacy Association (ARJAA). As an organization that works in partnership with the Abbotsford Police Department (AbbyPD) to support at risk youth, or youth in need of mentorship, we are grateful for your time and support. Whether on the road or inside the headquarters, many positions are available-you can choose one, or try them all! Before we can bring you on as a volunteer, there are a few things we need from you.

Step One: please fill out the form below to let us know that you would like to volunteer with us, and for what position! For a clear description on the variety of options available as a volunteer, please view the below.

Step Two: Once you have filled out the form, we will send you a Volunteer Application Package: this includes an ORN Volunteer Application Form, a Criminal Record Check form from AbbyPD, as well as the link to obtain your ICBC driver's license abstract. This information will be sent to AbbyPD for the necessary clearance screening required for all ORN volunteers. Please make sure to send this package and the ICBC driver’s abstract back to us in a timely manner, as AbbyPD requires a few days to process your clearance.

*If your preference is to fill out your forms in a hardcopy version, you may bring your completed Volunteer Application Package to the Abbotsford Community Police Office, located at: 34194 Marshall Rd, Abbotsford V2S 5E4

Step Three: Once we receive the approval from AbbyPD, we will reach out to you with more details about training and volunteer dates! You may sign up for as many shifts with us as you like. Details of shift times and dates will be sent to you via this confirmation email.

We will be accepting applications until midnight on Monday, December 1st, 2024. We look forward to hearing from you!

Fill out the form to begin the process!
